The Pendleton Morning Storm design has roots that date back to 1865, created by Selena Marshall for her own moccasins and leggings. Four generations later, Cydnee Shangreaux pays homage to her great-grandmother's design with this Morning Storm Muchacho baby blanket. The pyramid steps represent a journey, with the two dots on either side signifying a good life from childhood to adulthood. Thunderbirds in the design represent messengers who help guide you through the storm with their song.

This blanket gives back: A portion of the proceeds will go to the nonprofit organization American Indian College Fund who helps fund scholarships for Native American students and tribal colleges.
